Reflections and Realizations.
I miss you! Like, really miss you, my dear subscriber. Navigating life as a young woman in Nigeria has been a rollercoaster, and law school demanded more of me than I ever anticipated.
Manifesting a vacation in Paris someday. Sounds weird right? Lol. Dream big!!!
I found myself far from my comfort zone, my safe haven. Writing is a part of me, and I couldn't forsake it, no matter how hard it got. But I'm back, and I'll like to know: how are you, my darling? I crave your honest response in the comments below.
The past month has been a whirlwind of ups and downs, wins, losses, setbacks, and tears (yes, those happened in the bathroom too, lol). I'm ready to share the details, not for sympathy, but for connection and growth.
In the midst of chaos, I've celebrated some wins. I finally set up a new LinkedIn account after months of restrictions, and I came second in the LinkedIn Impact Challenge organized by JNAC Chambers. I was low-key surprised, high-key excited!
Yeah, that's me! ๐๐
And then, there's the story of my phone. Long story short, a complete stranger helped fix it, and I'm still in shock. Like, my fragile heart is still reeling from the kindness. Bless him, Lord! More on that later.
Life can get heavy, and sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. However, dearest reader, you must hold on to hope, learn to dust yourself if you fall, take a deep breath, and keep moving.
Don't underestimate the power of having supportive people in your life, they're your rock, your safe haven, partners in growth and your biggest cheerleaders. Lean on them when you need support.
Hope you learned a thing or two from my ramblings? See you in the next letter!
